Mauricio launched and built the social media and influencer marketing division at his previous agency from the ground up, partnering with the founder to establish a new revenue stream and long-term client offering. He led strategy, client management, and execution oversight across retainer and campaign-based programs, managing annual budgets ranging from $50K to $1M, inclusive of influencer partnerships, paid media, and production spend.

He built the department’s infrastructure from scratch — including custom influencer management systems, legal templates, campaign briefing frameworks, and KPI tracking dashboards — ensuring that creative storytelling aligned with measurable business outcomes. Under his leadership, clients experienced sustained follower growth, increased engagement rates, improved influencer performance metrics, and long-term retainer renewals.
